Social Policy Network
The Social Policy Network (SPN) is an informal network of organisations across the wider health, social care, housing, poverty and other sectors who are working on matters of policy.
The purpose of the group is not to create a single unified voice, as each organisation will naturally have differing areas of expertise, given the breadth of organisations involved. However, we meet on a quarterly basis as a network to discuss our recent and current policy work, learn from each other, explore avenues for collaboration, and to facilitate networking and a sense of community within those working in social policy in Ireland.
The group is organised on a rotating Chair basis, with each organisation taking responsibility for choosing a date to meet, organising an in-person or Zoom/hybrid format for the meeting, contacting members, organising a speaker for the meeting (if appropriate), etc.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the SPN, you can contact our Senior Policy & Research Officer, Zoe Hughes (zoe@carealliance.ie) to be added to the email list, which is shared across members.
*Note - this informational webpage is being facilitated by Care Alliance Ireland, however the Network is a collaboration across over 40 different organisations. Care Alliance Ireland is not the owner nor permanent Chair of the Network.
